For me, cooking is a way to represent my beautiful country, Costa Rica. I prioritize sourcing local ingredients so I can highlight Costa Rica’s identity—even when I’m preparing international dishes.
I’ve built my craft through top training and real kitchens
I trained at INA, the best culinary school in Costa Rica, and I worked in restaurants alongside some of the country’s top chefs. I’m also the founder of Doctor Chef, where I combine technique, creativity, and service in every experience.

My “secret” is simple: the finest ingredients of Costa Rica, brought to your table by a professional local chef. I’m committed to service so you feel genuinely well cared for from the first moment to the last bite.

































Doctor Chef was amazing. He accommodated our celiac disease by making his entire menu gluten-free and none of our very sensitive diners got sick. He and his crew also got up at 3 in the morning to be able to travel to our remote AirBnB in time for brunch. Finally, his food was awesome. His Aztec soup bowled over everyone from the 10-year-old picky-eater to his middle-aged foodie parents. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
